I’ve added some new photographs to my online wedding photography portfolio, from a ceremony and party in October. It was a wonderful afternoon and evening for the couple and the location, at the Kulturhof Schloss Köniz near Bern, helped me to produce some wonderful shots.

Two of my favourite photos from the event are the two in this post. The one above is one of my favourite shots amongst all of my wedding photos, and probably my favourite photo from 2013; shot towards the wedding party as they watched a film made by well-wishers to congratulate them.

The second captures a sweet moment with the couple and the bride’s grandfather, of which I’m particularly pleased given the difficult lighting conditions. Illuminated by candlelight in a darkened barn, even shooting at ISO 3200 pushed the limits of getting a sharp photo. Both images were photographed using my Nikon D7000.
