It’s been a while since we’ve sat in the city centre of Bern to take a break amongst running errands and visiting shops. And even longer since we’ve managed to snag one of the few benches amongst the market stalls outside Starbucks on Waisenhausplatz.
Using a church to tell the time

Dog Shooting, Pompeii, Italy

One of those perfect moments, when time seems to slow down and the photograph almost takes itself. A photographer taking a picture – “shooting” – a sleeping stray dog through anti-dust netting in Pompeii.
Spring is here

It’s been a long time coming, but Spring is here. Beautiful weather this past weekend, so it’ll soon be time once more to travel to Thun by ship for shopping trip, and time to dust off the camera to capture summer sunshine.
