Lac de Gruyères, Switzerland

Although a few others had ventured out across the large amounts of mud and small amounts of snow to get closer to the ice, I chose to use my drone to capture the cracked and slippery shore line of the frozen lake.

The famous lake is frozen, despite the current spring-like temperatures, for a large expanse of its length. Here, near Corbières, I sent my drone out across the ice to capture a large, upright dead branch in the middle of the lake.

One of my favourite finds during my lunchtime walks around the city of Bern, this park is a haven of quiet and surrounded by a mix of views and architecture from the 1950s and onwards. The large building in the top right of the picture is the American embassy. View large.
