Windows of Brantwood

Brantwood is the former home of John Ruskin, and sits on a slightly elevated piece of land on the shores of Coniston Water in the English Lake District. We visited this October and one of the things which struck me were the wonderful windows around the house, and the views from them.

(It’s a shame about the Moiré effect in a couple of the shots, but the finely-meshed blinds meant that it was unavoidable.)
