Dear Zurich is a website dedicated to the biggest city in Switzerland – short video clips, filmed from a static viewpoint, of some well- or lesser-known corners of the city. The idea is to make the viewer pause next time they’re passing through the city… to “stop and smell the flowers”, as it were. Inspirational, and idea which I may take forward for the views and corners I pass by with my camera.
In our everyday life we tend to overlook the beauty around us. Day after day we walk the same paths, but our minds are elsewhere. While we travel, we fall in love with cities unknown to us. It’s the tiny details that catch our eyes.
All the magic lies therein — no matter how accustomed they may seem.
