One of the phrases which comes down from generation to generation in Britain, which is used when seeing dark, stormy clouds in the distance. Quick online research shows that the phrase dates back to the 19th century at least, but there appears to be no clear indication of its initial origin.

The Fear

I continued with my series of set-up photos yesterday evening and returned to the PROGR building in Bern with a couple of volunteers, to try and get some different images from the last time I was there a few weeks ago.

The Restaurant at the End of the World

After processing a lot of photos from the past couple of months, I’m happy to be returning to the photos I took when Jo and I were on holiday in Italy this May. This is the next in the sequence of photos I’d like to show you, which is of the restaurant one passes on the way to the Sciara di Fuoco on the island of Stromboli.
