Portraiture and Lighting course in Zurich

My all-day coaching session on 11th June 2011 took place in the grounds of the ETH at Hönggerberg in Zurich. I’ve used this location several times before thanks to the size and variety of potential areas in which to take photos; from modern architectural detail to green lawns and trees.

Unitobler, Bern

The old Toblerone factory in Bern’s Länggasse quarter is now part of the city’s university. Every bar of Toblerone chocolate made between the end of the 19th century and the mid-1980s was produced in this building. Read more.

College Street, St. Andrews

University Building, Anacapri, Italy

We chose to avoid the main tourist trail through the centre of Anacapri and struck off on our own, through quiet back lanes. We came across this lovely garden and path, belonging to an outpost of Naples university, and envied the shade.
