Posts about Neuhaus-Weissenau

Neuhaus-Weissenau is the area of Unterseen which borders on the shore of Lake Thun, to the west of Interlaken, in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps. It is largely made up of a private golf course, a couple of sizeable camp sites and leisure facilities for the lake, but the shoreline is given over to a protected, publicly-accessible nature reserve.

Biking along the lake

I bought a bike because it’s fun, it will improve my fitness rapidly – thereby helping me to get ready for hiking season – and because it means that I don’t have to rely on public transport or on my car for my daily trip to work and back. It also allows me to enjoy the local scenery more; getting me further more quickly than on foot.
