The hard-working, three-wheeled version of the Vespa ("wasp") is called Ape ("bee"). A tiny cab and a flatbed back, to take bits and pieces up and down the small, narrow roads.

Blue Grotto Road, Capri, Italy

Despite the heat, we decided to enjoy the island and walk down the winding road from Anacapri to the Blue Grotto. About an hour and a half of gentle walking, through pine and cactus forests, whilst being passed by tourists on rented scooters and by small local buses.
