Construction of this former monastery began in 1698. The church, built in Baroque style, was consecrated in 1719. Einsiedeln Monastery

Visited with Mum and Dad earlier today, en route (the pretty way) back to Zurich airport. This was only a cheeky grab shot for my collection, as photography isn’t allowed. Hence the low quality. (Also, the lights were all turned off, so it was a bit dark.)
