A shot which took a little patience to achieve; waiting for around quarter of an hour until the solitary patches of sunlight passed across the loch to strike the castle. Just out of shot to the right: Archie running back and forth and enjoying the wind whipping across the water.

When the full (-ish) moon rises above Interlaken at this time of year, it always reminds me of a photo my Dad took in south Wales many years ago, where the reflection wasn’t on a lake but on the smooth surface of the sea off the coast of Freshwater East.
