Unspunnen Ruins

"The lives of the sons of Rudolf von Wädiswil were described thus: "In the unhindered joy of vigourous youth and unrestrained independence, both young barons led merry lives as befitting noblemen of those times. Hunting bears, wolves, chamois, ibex, deer and wild boar in their mountains, or amusing themselves with falconry, a popular sport of the time, visiting neighbouring noblemen and monasteries or even some far-distant princely dwelling, joining a crusade or feud to exercise their knightly valour, and holding merry banquets with the food and drink always found in abundance at this well-stocked castle."
