Photographed from the cog wheel train to Schynige Platte. "Bödeli" is the Swiss German name for the plain between the lakes of Thun and Brienz, upon which Interlaken, Bönigen, Unterseen and Matten lie.

Jo’s parents have arrived from Scotland for a visit, bringing with them loads of British goodies. Amongst them, many tins of haggis, which now completely fill one of the shelves in our kitchen cupboards.

Whilst out and about with Jo’s parents these past couple of weeks, there has been a distinct sense of waiting in the air. The landscape is resting and gathering it’s strength to turn orange, brown and red as autumn arrives.
