Some people might think I’m a landscape photographer, because I share so many photographs of scenes and views. I do enjoy a good scene, but it’s the vignettes of something interesting – an unusual moment in a usual scenario, a dramatic storm cloud passing through a scene – which really grab my attention. It can be a city scene full of little things going on; a reflection in a lake; a curved section of road photographed from above, or even just a pattern of light.
Sometimes, though, it can be something completely off-kilter. Like the stitching in Jo’s boots matching some nail-polish applied to the roots of a tree.
