When we visited Turin for the weekend a couple of years ago, one of the viewpoints I wanted to visit was in the hills above the city. The monumental lighthouse statue “Winged Victory” stands in the Park of Remembrance (of Italy’s contribution to the defeat of Austria and Germany in the First World War) atop the Maddalena Hill: the highest point in the city boundaries. From here, the views across the city to the western Alps are quite something to behold.

Very pretty viewpoint. I guess that’s what drones are made for :)
Getting just that bit higher to see the better view :)
