I worked on a website for the local paragliding company last year and through it, got to take a short test flight, to see whether my nerves would stand up to the trial of taking promotional photos from on high at some point in the future. (They will; although it was only a low-level ten minute flight without my camera, I enjoyed it immensely.) The experience reminded me of this joyous film by Manuel from the Dune du Pilat in 2018, which makes me envious of those with the skill and experience to float above the world.
