Urat glacier in Swiss canton Bern

Although it’s easy to find the precise location of my photos on the Swiss topographical map when I get home from a day’s photography, it’s often tricky to pinpoint the precise names of the summits and mountain features in the picture. However, when the summits are so distinct, the challenge is lessened.

Here, the Undertalstock and Schattmigestock support the Urat glacier in canton Bern; a group neighbouring the more well-known Titlis and Fünffingerstock. I took the photo from the roadside a couple of kilometres away, along the Susten alpine pass road.
