Way back in April, we took a drive to the northern Swiss canton of Basel-Land, which borders Germany along the Rhine. On our way to the small river crossing town of Laufenburg, I made a detour through the rolling hills of the Basler landscape, to see and photograph some of the attractive villages in a traditional square format.
