A current poster campaign by the Swiss Christian Action Committee is hanging across the country. Much of the poster is left empty, with the intention that it should be graffitied, in answer to the prompt “Jesus is…”. The accompanying website offers people the same opportunity to give their opinion on what they see Jesus to be. The most interesting aspect for me is that none of the posters I’ve seen have been graffitied with negative connotations: anyone who has taken the time to write anything has left a positive message.

I’ve also seen them and was equally surprised to not see any negative or destructive comments.
I was wondering if the “Aktionskomitee Christen Schweiz” organised their own people to write on the posters.
Ah, yes, that could be it. Hadn’t thought of that!
