Part of our holiday in England this year was to Derbyshire and the Peak District. I was much taken with the region and by the hiking opportunities, leading to fresh views and new photographic inspiration. (As well as enjoyable walks and a sense of physical achievement.)
High on the list of destinations was Kinder Scout; the highest of the peaks in the district, which we ascended from the picturesque village of Edale. A collection of photos from the walk is now in my Flickr account.
