The four seasons of St. Niklaus

I’m interested in getting to know canton Wallis better. If it weren’t for the expense of the return trip through the old Lötschberg tunnel, we’d go a lot more often. Although we can get through to Visp and Brig pretty quickly using public transport from Spiez via the newer Lötschberg Base Tunnel, onward journeys are too long for a realistic day trip.

So I’m glad that there are an increasing amount of videos popping up these days, showing lesser-known valleys. We can plan ahead a little and see where we’d like to go, then do a tour in a day or over a weekend, knowing that we’re going to like what we see.

This superb example by filmmaker Christian Mülhauser is one of the best I’ve come across recently.
