Some people with whom I was at school were friends for many years thereafter, and some drifted into the distance as time moved on. Thanks to the rise of services like Facebook, some have popped up again many years later and I’m glad to be in touch with some of them again: albeit, sadly, on a distant basis due to the paths we’ve taken having led us to live a long way from one another.
Tom is one such person with whom I regained contact via Facebook, and I’m happy to have contact with him again. It’s great to see what a success he’s made of his musical skills: if you like the blues and have the opportunity to see him play live, I’m sure it must be a great experience.
