As a Britischer, I am often asked for suggestions by people who plan on visiting London: where to eat, what they really must see, and where there are good hotels. I had been planning on writing a much longer and more explanatory guide of places which I really like to see, and will indeed do so when I get the chance. For now, though, I can recommend this German language page at Wikivoyage.org as a starting point, where information seems to be up to date and contain the basic information that so many need. However, cross-check any critical details, as you would with any publicly-edited Wiki website.
