Portrait and lighting workshop in Lausanne

Yesterday’s free portrait and lighting workshop at the Rolex Learning Centre in Lausanne was an unmitigated success, with just the right amount of photographers taking part to allow everyone to make new friends, work well together, and come up with some great shots. Thanks must go primarily to the models Sissi, Maja and Armonie for attending, all of whom enjoyed their day and will doubtless be looking forward to seeing the shots we all took of them. Many photographers will be sharing their photos via Flickr: you can see them tagged “rolex2012” in the Swiss Strobist group.

I’ll be writing up the technique behind each of the setups my group worked on during the day, so that you can see in detail how we achieved certain looks and effects. Feel free to subscribe to the RSS feed of the blog, or connect via Facebook, to keep up to date when new blog posts come online.
