In 2008, I took the first of what was to become one of my most successful series of portrait photographs: the “One Frame Movie” series. Since then, I’ve worked tirelessly to improve the technical and conceptual aspects, learning new techniques and coming up with new ideas along the way. Many of the photos are shot outdoors and so the wintertime is less suitable for shooting for the series. Now that the spring is here, though, I’m going to start adding new shots to the series whenever I can.

One Frame Movie

I’m constantly on the lookout for people to photograph and I’d like to invite you, dear reader, to participate. I’m looking for volunteers over the age of 25 and I’m flexible as to the location within Switzerland. You get a free copy of the final piece in high resolution, and I get another photo to add to my series!

The photoshoot is, of course, free of charge and would take place one evening or one weekend. If you would like to involve your partner, family member or friend, that’d be great too, although this isn’t a “must”. I do ask, though, that female volunteers please bring a friend or partner with them, even if they’re not going to be in the photograph.

If you don’t want to volunteer yourself, but know someone who might be interested, please pass on my details to them! Under special circumstances, I’d be happy to travel to areas across the border into Switzerland’s neighbouring countries, within reason.

If you think you could be interested and would like a free, extra-special portrait, you can check out some examples of previous additions to the One Frame Movie series. I’m available for regular portrait sessions too and I’m also accepting bookings for weddings. I hope to hear from you and look forward to collaborating with you soon!

I’m up for it (and I guess also Nina)! But will have to wait until “real” spring, we’re off for holidays until mid of April.

Schönes Projekt. Mich würde interessieren, wie ein anderer Fotograf mich sieht. Also wenn du möchtest, mache ich gerne mit.
