Monte Limidario

Monte Limidario (also known as “Gridone“) is a mountain in the Lepontine Alps to the west of Lake Maggiore, marking the border between Italy’s Piedmont region and the southern Swiss canton of Ticino. At 2,188m (7,178 feet), it dominated the skyline as we headed east along the Vigezzo valley between Domodossola and Locarno.
