Loch Garry, Scotland

The drive up the A9 main road from Perth to the north of Scotland is a great experience, although one which demands much patience as progress can be slow. Despite being the main route between northern and southern Scotland, the main road remains a single carriageway for much of its length.

Reaching the Drumochter Pass, I pulled over to the side of the road to photograph the patchy sunlight passing over Loch Garry and the surrounding hillsides.

This photograph is available to order as a mounted or unmounted photographic print.
