Naddle Valley, Cumbria

After a torrentially rainy start to the only whole day we spent in the Lake District during this summer’s road trip, strong winds helped to clear the weather just as we arrived on the hillsides above Keswick to visit the Castlerigg stone circle. While we waited for the tourists to clear too, I shot this view south, looking towards one of the larger mountains: Helvellyn.
