After a photo session with friends earlier in the afternoon and dinner in Vevey, we headed up to the slopes above Lac Léman to capture the wonderful warm sunset over western Switzerland. The terraced vineyards on the north shore of the huge lake are a UNESCO World Heritage site, with a history stretching back nearly a thousand years to when the area was controlled by various monestaries. The view from this section of mountainside is one of my favourites in Switzerland.
