One of the more challenging Strobist portraits I’ve done. In this case, an optically triggered SB800 (on loan from the group organizer) at arm’s length at camera right, held in my left hand, whilst holding the camera in my right hand. The fact that I had to hang out of the cab and shoot against the light whilst on a steam train travelling at 30 kph was just part of the fun.
From an afternoon and evening of regular and Strobist (off-camera flash) photography with the Pacific 01 202 steam train club.
