Beat came over to have a drink and a chat last week and we spent a good couple of hours poring over prints, showing each other interesting articles online, discussing strobist and printing techniques and explaining what drives us as creative individuals. An interesting diversion on the topic of street photography gave me pause for thought and I’ll probably write about my appreciation of the theme in a future blog post. This photo, shot simply with a balance of ambient tungsten light and the help of a Pocket Wizard-driven SB-26, was to test a theory but worked out as an portrait I’m quite pleased with. A strobist photographer, lit simply.
