This is the beach at Freshwater East in Pembrokeshire, South Wales, near where my father’s family comes from and where I spent all of my childhood summer holidays.

I took this on my last trip to South Wales in 1997 and was lucky enough that the storm clouds and heavy rain were clearing as I arrived in the area. This photo is of Trewent Point and was taken from this rocky outcrop, to which my family regularly returned and used as a "base camp" for days on the beach.
