Terms of service
The following terms of service relate to my wedding photography. Please refer to the example galleries (via the menu) to see how I photograph, and to see the style of images I create.
- The fee I charge doesn’t guarantee a certain quantity of photos. Clients pay for the quality of the photos, not for the quantity of images.
- A non-refundable charge of 10% of the total fee is payable in advance, on confirmation of the booking. This amount is deducted from the total bill. The full fee is payable four weeks before the wedding.
- All photos are delivered electronically in colour at full resolution, in JPG format, ready to print or to bring to a photo lab. I don’t deliver unedited photos.
- Standard fees do not include printed copies of the photographs. I’ll be happy to provide you with details and an additional quote for a professionally-prepared album, DVD slideshow or for other additional services.
- Clients gain full personal usage rights to the photos I take for them. Images may not be used by the client or by myself for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
- Selected images may be added to my on- or offline portfolio as examples of my work. Any requirement that the photos not be displayed online must be agreed in advance.
- I retain all original “digital negative” files in my archives. In the event that a client require that I give up or delete these files, an additional fee is payable in advance. Delivery of copies of these “digital negative” files in addition to the regular JPG files may incur an additional charge.
- Edited photographs will be delivered within a week under normal circumstances.
- Weddings at which an unusually large number of photos have been taken, or where special editing is requested or required, may involve a slightly longer delivery time.
