I’ve started to enjoy working in the studio much more these days, now that I have a much better understanding of light and a better control of the equipment. Having more experience means that I can concentrate much more on my subjects and work with them to get a much wider range of styles and spend less time with the technical stuff. This image is one of my favourite pictures of the year, which was shot at the end of a studio session a couple of weeks ago, when maintaining Lili’s make-up was no longer important.
