Permanent Tourist

The view from the Allmistübli restaurant, high above the lower Simmen valley, Lake Thun and the town I call home: Spiez, in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. Despite having lived here for almost ten years, I still sometimes have difficulty believing that this is where I live. To reach such a magnificent view after a twenty minute bus ride and ten minute walk is a blessing.
