    Individual photographs | 10th December 2008

This is one of those shots which just seems to work, despite the fact that it came about purely by accident. Well, mabye not by accident, but not in a planned way. It was taken in the bathroom of a conference centre near Zurich at the end of October, when I was shooting the conference for a work client, and was more for a snapshot than any other reason. I have been taking [mirror shot photos](http://flickr.com/groups/mirrorproject/pool/87637435@N00/) for quite some time and on seeing this modern and well-lit mirror, I was inspired to take one for the first time in ages. The actual photo you see here was created using a pre-defined setting in [Lightroom](http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshoplightroom/)… one which I hadn’t actually intended using! The original was very yellow: tungsten lighting in a yellow-toned bathroom. I love the effect created here, and intend on looking into using it for some other portraits in future.
