Brienz Quay – print auction for Haiti
In the Media, Individual photographs, Prints for sale • Thursday, 21st January, 2010
When I first posted this photo in 2006 of mist on the lake at Brienz, I had no idea that it would become so popular. From the 3,580 photos I’ve posted to Flickr over the past few years, this one has been the most popular.
So, I thought it an appropriate candidate to add to the Flickr auction in support of the earthquake victims in Haiti.
I am auctioning off a single print of this photograph to the highest bidder. The print will be professionally made by a local printer on Kodak Royal paper and mounted in a passepartout measuring 20cm x 30cm. I can sign the print on request for no extra charge.
Please add your bid as a comment here before 31st January 2010. A reserve (minimum bid) of sFr.50 / £30 / €34 applies.
If you’re not a member of Flickr, please email me at permanent.tourist@gmail.com with your bid, which I will add to the comments section myself. I will cover the costs of postage and packing within Europe. Please check back after 31st January 2010 to see if you have been the successful bidder, so that you can contact me and arrange payment.
If you use this photo to promote this auction on your own website, please add the copyright notice © 2010 Mark Howells-Mead and link back to this page.
