Geek stuff, Internet, VideoThursday, 15th October, 2009

I got the opportunity to photograph and get to know Manuel Reinhard at the end of last year, when I photographed him and his wife in the snowy city of Bern. Manuel works for Bernese web agency !frappant, with whom we collaborated for a work project earlier this year, and the company has recently begun expanding to cover more aspects of online and offline media through flabs (as in “!frappant labs”, presumably).

As a preview of the kind of work they’re likely to be doing, and to share useful tips and news surrounding the Swiss internet scene, Manuel (also known through his personal website and Twitter stream as “sprain“) has recently launched a regular video podcast. The podcast, through which Swiss German speakers can keep up-to-date via a Vimeo channel and free iTunes subscription via this page on Manuel’s website, is both light-hearted and informational at the same time. The video above is the latest episode, published over the past 24 hours.
