Pembrokeshire, Wales

Pembrokeshire, or “Dyfed” as it is officially known by the Royal Mail, is a coastal area on the south western tip of Wales. Much of the county is protected as one of the U.K. national parks and contains beautiful scenery, from lush farming land to dramatic cliffs and idyllic beaches. While the weather in the region is changeable, thanks to its location directly on the Atlantic coast, the wide range of weather conditions adds to the charm and beauty of the area.
Pembrokeshire holds a particularly special place in my heart, being the scene of most of my childhood family holidays as well as one of the destinations for my wife and me on our honeymoon in 2007.
