“The Gherkin”, London, England
Individual photographs, Photography, Travel • Tuesday, 6th January, 2009
I was lucky enough to be able to arrange a trip to this iconic London landmark through a contact I made at a media conference in 2008. We were accompanied to the top of the glass home of (amongst others) Swiss Re and were able to see the terrific views of the low sun and misty sights of London from the (otherwise closed) restaurant and bar on the gallery above the 40th floor. A million thanks to Emma and her colleagues for allowing us to visit and take photos of the amazing and highly memorable visit.
